Searching for a great 2-day camp and raft getaway? Our South Fork American River wilderness trip provides a mix of river adventure with off-the grid camping. Psst… we do all of the cooking and camp setup! Join us at our established and private South Fork American River Campground on the first night, prior to getting on the river. (Our campground is complete with showers and flushing toilets.) The second night is spent at a more primitive camp location on the river that includes a beautiful sandy beach. In addition to the on-the-river location, our secluded camp spot accesses the world renowned Western States Trail. Known in the trail running world for the 100-mile endurance run, you will be able to take a hike from our campsite and experience a remote part of the famous singletrack. (Side hikes for this trip are unguided.) Enjoy a memorable night of camping in the wilderness on the shores of river. Sleep under the stars, wake to the calming sounds of the water and enjoy the beautiful forested surroundings in the morning. A perfect rafting trip for youth groups, scout groups, and corporate groups looking for a camp and raft trip. We are conveniently located close to Sacramento, San Francisco, and Lake Tahoe!

There is no better way to enjoy the majesty of Yosemite National Park then by putting on a pair of boots and hiking the mountain trails, walking among giant sequoias, or standing in the mist of a waterfall. On our Yosemite Tour your naturalist guide will take you to many of the icons of the park including Bridalveil Falls, El Capitan, Glacier Point, and Half Dome. We will also venture out of the valley to Hetch Hetchy & Tuolumne Meadows as well as Mariposa Grove. Woven into the natural beauty of the park is a deep cultural history including the pioneers who settled this area, the Buffalo Soldiers who first protected this park, and John Muir who had the vision to protect this park for generations to come.

Deep in the heart of the Sierra Nevada Mountains lays the incomparable Yosemite Valley. There, you'll discover Half Dome, El Capitan, all 3 of North America's tallest waterfalls, and the "Wild and Scenic" Merced River. It is such a wildly impressive natural landscape that it has earned its own nickname "The Incomparable Valley". Join us here where we'll follow in the footsteps of John Muir, feel the power of the waterfalls, and contemplate what it was like when this entire region was covered in ice thousands of feet thick. You'll spend your days with your interpretive mountain guide, hiking and exploring on- and off-the-beaten path. Each day brings more highlights and plenty of photographic opportunities.
