WHITEWATER RIVER RAFTING TRIPS WITH TRIBUTARY You know the feeling. It’s that feeling of reconnecting with the wild and with each other. The feeling of getting on the river for the first time… or the 50th. The one that you talk about for a lifetime. The one you want to share with others. The one that starts with an idea of adventure and is fulfilled on the river. We believe that rafting trips bring out the best in people. We feel that people respond to the beauty and challenge of the river, and in doing so, discover the best in themselves. In this hectic world, it becomes even more important to “get away from it all”. Tributary Whitewater has been safely guiding whitewater rafting trips since 1978 offering something for all levels, from Class II to Class IV+. Trips launch throughout Oregon and California and have options suitable for ages 4+, non-swimmers, offer challenging rapids for thrill seekers, provide great options for family vacations, can accommodate groups of various sizes, and feature half-day, full-day and multi-day whitewater rafting. Whether you are yearning to explore a new area or find new things in a familiar one, we understand the call of the river because we hear it too. Join Tributary Whitewater Tours for an incredible river experience.

There’s no better way to chase anadromous fish than with a two handed rod and a swung fly. Our primary focus is on the north Oregon Coast where there’s great diversity in each watershed to ensure we can find the perfect river to fish most days throughout the often, unpredictable winter months. Depending on the watershed, and plan for the day we will drift 5-8 miles with access to prime runs to intercept these amazing fish that are fresh from the ocean and ready to test you and your gear as they intercept your fly.

Choose from either of our two convenient times for our daily 45-mile round trip tour. We begin our journey at the Klamath estuary called "Rek-woy", the Yurok name for "Where the fresh water meets the Pacific Ocean". The Jet Boat Tour is the 2 hour tour, that takes you to the estuary and then up 22 miles up the River. The estuary tour is a 1 hour tour that takes around the estuary. As your Captain turns the boat upriver and powers up the twin jets, sit back, relax and view nature in it's most primitive form as it unfolds before you! Our experienced captains provide a fully narrated river trip with plenty of stops to photograph spectacular vistas and wildlife. Bears are often seen feeding along the banks of the river on berries, fish and grubs. Ospreys return in April to their nesting area of the Klamath River from as far south as Brazil. Klamath mornings and evenings are typically cool or overcast near the coast, so dress yourself in plenty of layers. As you travel upriver, be prepared to shed some clothing as the day heats up. We recommend hats and sunglasses.
