Oregon's Crater Lake National Park is a sight to behold. Just seeing it during the day is a once in a lifetime experience. Due to its remote location Crater Lake also lends itself as a perfect landscape photography destination. Learn from one of Oregon's greatest nature photographers while exploring the various locations in the park. Zack will guide the group to his favorite scenic spots and will lead a night sky session to capture the sparkling milky way from the rim.

As one might imagine, the members of Photo Cascadia place a high value on the preservation of wild and natural places and the protection of the environment. These values are a big part of what brought us together as a team and why we are passionate about landscape photography. They have been a strong theme in the work we do from the beginning and more recently it has been wonderful to work with the Nature First Alliance on these values.

Mount Rainier National Park offers up a true mountain landscape paradise. Literally, we will visit Paradise! Summer time is wildflower season, and we will split time between the Paradise and Sunrise sides of the mountain in hopes of catching the narrow window for peak bloom. We will also take advantage of the dark night skies as the milky way rises over Mount Rainier. The Mount Rainier Photo Workshop will visit some of the park's beautiful waterfalls such as Narada, Christine, and Myrtle Falls as well as Reflection and Tipsoo Lake.
