Float 51 miles through the heart of Hells Canyon, from Hells Canyon Creek to Heller Bar. This trip begins and ends in Joseph, Oregon where round-trip transportation to and from the river is included in your trip cost. Run powerful class III and IV whitewater, the likes of Granite and Wild Sheep rapids. Visit historical sites, fish for prehistoric White Sturgeon, and let the Winding Waters' guides take care of your every last need. On this tour, you'll capture that grandeur, guided by a photographer with many years of experience with the art and craft of photography and the Yellowstone region. From selecting a camera to scouting the best spots to composing the shot, you'll be supported the entire way. If you are already an accomplished photographer and just need a guide, we can do that as well! Each tour is bespoke, crafted completely to accommodate your needs. We will go where you want to go and shoot what you want to shoot (within reason, of course). This tour is not accessible to wheelchair users, but other movement limitations may be able to be accommodated, please inquire. We will provide a picnic lunch, snacks, and refills for your water bottles.
