Searching for a great 2-day camp and raft getaway? Our South Fork American River wilderness trip provides a mix of river adventure with off-the grid camping. Psst… we do all of the cooking and camp setup! Join us at our established and private South Fork American River Campground on the first night, prior to getting on the river. (Our campground is complete with showers and flushing toilets.) The second night is spent at a more primitive camp location on the river that includes a beautiful sandy beach. In addition to the on-the-river location, our secluded camp spot accesses the world renowned Western States Trail. Known in the trail running world for the 100-mile endurance run, you will be able to take a hike from our campsite and experience a remote part of the famous singletrack. (Side hikes for this trip are unguided.) Enjoy a memorable night of camping in the wilderness on the shores of river. Sleep under the stars, wake to the calming sounds of the water and enjoy the beautiful forested surroundings in the morning. A perfect rafting trip for youth groups, scout groups, and corporate groups looking for a camp and raft trip. We are conveniently located close to Sacramento, San Francisco, and Lake Tahoe!

Though Lassen once again sleeps, the region remains as one of our youngest active volcanoes. Today, Lassen Peak, its extensive adjacent collection of geothermal features, its volcanic moonscape surrounded by lush coniferous forests and countless, glistening high country lakes, have found protection within the parameters of Lassen Volcanic National Park. The message of this park is clear- our planet is alive; its surface may be quiet, but it's profound energy bubbles within. Lassen's numerous fumaroles and mud pots offer convincing evidence of this geothermal presence.

There is no better way to enjoy the majesty of Yosemite National Park then by putting on a pair of boots and hiking the mountain trails, walking among giant sequoias, or standing in the mist of a waterfall. On our Yosemite Tour your naturalist guide will take you to many of the icons of the park including Bridalveil Falls, El Capitan, Glacier Point, and Half Dome. We will also venture out of the valley to Hetch Hetchy & Tuolumne Meadows as well as Mariposa Grove. Woven into the natural beauty of the park is a deep cultural history including the pioneers who settled this area, the Buffalo Soldiers who first protected this park, and John Muir who had the vision to protect this park for generations to come.

We will be spending the day hiking and sightseeing within Yosemite National Park. Yosemite is steeped in history, being the former home of some of America's foremost conservationists including John Muir and Ansel Adams and is one of America's first National Parks. On this outing, we'll visit the impressive groves of Giant Sequoia Trees. The Big Trees are the largest living things on earth, as measured by volume, and never disappoint whether you are seeing them for the first time or the 100th time. Plan on seeing the 1800-year old Grizzly Giant, one of the largest trees in the park and certainly the most famous. We offer a variety of hiking options to any of Yosemite's iconic destinations, all catered to your personal interests and abilities.
