Prepare yourself to capture the majestic beauty of our unique Texas Hill Country nature preserve through your camera lens will leave you breathless! Our photography tours take visitors along a 15 minute walk from an arid savanna through a limestone crevice down a 100 foot staircase into a sheltered canyon of lush plant life. At the head of the canyon stands a stunning 40-foot waterfall replenishing the emerald pool below! Guests will have a little over an hour to photograph and absorb the beauty of the grotto area without feeling crowded or rushed. Your guide will point out different angles that you can capture in front of and behind the waterfall, and inside of our 1-chamber room cave. After about a hour your guide will give you a 15 minute warning to get any last photographs before hiking back up to the visitor center, an approximate 15 minute walk. Participants will also have free access to Uplands after their guided photography grotto tour.

During this small group workshop, we'll spend two and a half days photographing some of the most beautiful sand dunes in the world. In order to take advantage of the best light, we'll be entering the park with a special use permit before the gates open in the morning. This will allow us to get into position for sunrise which will happen before the general public is allowed into the park. Sunrise and sunset is a remarkable experience in White Sands as the sand reflects whatever color is in the sky.

Michael Landrum grew up fishing Lake Caddo. His grandfather taught him to fish on this lake. In 2013, Michael began giving tours of this watery wonderland on his 24-ft pontoon boat. He thrives on sharing his passion for this area and loves helping make lifelong memories for those who share his tours. Tours vary according to guests’ interests. Left to my own impulses, I tend to focus on the history and legends of Lake Caddo and the surrounding area but am delighted when passengers indicate interest in wildlife, ecology, native Americans, local/regional attractions, or any subject related to Caddo Lake and Wetlands.

’m Anthony, a conservation photographer from Venezuela, and my life is a thrilling adventure through the wilds of South Florida. My heart beats for nature and photography, and I'm constantly exploring the great outdoors. Camping under the starry night sky, hiking through untouched landscapes, and embarking on daring expeditions are what keep me going. These experiences are the backdrop for my mission: capturing the extraordinary beauty of the Everglades and the enchanting South Florida night sky. My goal is to inspire others to join me in preserving these natural wonders. I've teamed up with renowned organizations to ensure these places stay protected. But it's not just about my work; I'm also a teacher. I've had the pleasure of mentoring over a hundred fellow photographers in workshops held right in the heart of the wilderness. My work isn't just about taking pictures; it's a thrilling adventure that I want to share with you. So, come along on my journey through the stunning landscapes of Florida, and let's ignite our shared passion for the environment together.
