With the larger groups we'll add another cook and/ or wrangler. We do the Dutch oven cooking for cowboy breakfasts and dinners. Entree's such as chicken enchiladas, filet mignon and prime rib.

At 7,980 feet, Mount Olympus is the highest peak on the Olympic Peninsula. Set entirely within Olympic National Park, this trip offers a uniquely beautiful wilderness mountaineering experience. An 18-mile approach leads through old-growth rainforest in the Hoh River Valley to the toe of the Blue Glacier, part of the third largest glacial system in the Lower 48. We climb past spectacular ice falls and crevasses to an enjoyable pitch of moderate alpine rock climbing up the summit pyramid. From the top, we revel in our solitude with panoramic views of the Olympic Mountains, the Cascade Range, Seattle and the Pacific Ocean.

Our Spring low tides uncover the bounty of the sea, and the plain midshipman sculpin spawning season serves up easy pickings for Bald Eagles. Bald Eagles from around the Puget Sound flock to the shores of the Hood Canal during this time. It is not uncommon to see 60 to 100 Bald Eagles on the beach and perched in overhanging trees! Watch and learn about Bald Eagles with our Biologist and Naturalists, and be sure to bring your camera for some rare up-close photos of eagles in their natural environment! This twelve-hour tour allows you to sample each of these systems with the added advantage of having an experienced guide to answer any questions that may arise. Come explore tide pools along the coastal beaches, roam among old-growth forest, trek atop mountain ridges with breathtaking vistas and stand by glacier-birthed rivers and lakes. The tour begins on a leisurely ferry boat ride over the Puget Sound to the Olympic Peninsula. Our first stop will usually find us at Hurricane Ridge where you will hike to an incredible view of the valley below and the snow-capped mountains in the distance. We will move on to Crescent Lake, Marymere Falls, Sol Duc Valley, and time permitting, a sandy beach along the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Hiking distance and duration of tour is customizable to your groups needs.
