Wild Fox Cabins & Campground is your passport to the rugged, unspoiled Maine wilderness. It’s a vacation experience you will never forget. We are located on 155 secluded acres along 3,600 feet of shoreline on Junior Lake in Penobscot County just 80 miles Northeast of Bangor Airport. Access by car via I-95 to ME-6. Access by boat from West Grand Lake (below), Bottle Lake, or Duck Lake (above), or by floatplane from Bangor Airport. We have the only boat ramp on Junior Lake. We boast some of the best fishing in the United States with over a dozen species available including Landlocked Salmon and two varieties of Trout. The lake has a maximum depth of 70 feet and 3,866 acres of pure, clean spring-fed water-rated at above-average quality by the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Game. Our property is surrounded by 300,000 acres of picturesque conservation land that can be hunted for a variety of game. There are other activities for every age, ability, and interest. We are a pet-friendly establishment. We will be happy to assist you with packing lists and answer all of your questions either by email or telephone.

WELCOME TO TERRAMOR OUTDOOR RESORT We are a thoughtful retreat committed to authentic, immersive experiences in nature. As our guest, you will be treated to the romance of a camping adventure blended with the amenities of a resort. Yes, you’ll go off the beaten path, but come back to relax in the most unexpected, comfortable fashion. As facilitators of outdoor ventures, we encourage you to explore the beauty surrounding our first resort in Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Opportunities abound at every turn. Hike the trails of Acadia National Park at your own pace or explore the seaside villages of Maine, both located just minutes from our glamping retreat. Make a splash in our refreshing pool or steamy hot tub, play outdoors with cornhole and ladder golf, sample some local fare, and top it all off with evening cocktails around a warm and crackling campfire.

Featuring two days of guided active adventures, this beginner-friendly Maine escape offers plenty of time to explore Acadia at your own pace. After exploring by bike or hiking boots, relax at camp, swim in a local lake, sightsee by Island Explorer bus or head into the quaint town of Bar Harbor - this is your time to take it all in and we're here to help. Of course, a trip to Acadia is not complete without savoring local specialties, so this trip also includes a stop for some local handmade ice cream, a campfire with s'mores and a traditional lobster (or steak) dinner prepared by your outdoor guides.

The Wild and Scenic California Salmon River, although still somewhat unknown even in its home state of California, is one of the most incredible class V whitewater rafting trips in the country. This is one of the most loved spring trips, and, for many of us, the "Cal Salmon" is our favorite class V river in the U.S. It combines beautiful, lush coastal scenery, an intimate, marble-smooth, granite inner gorge, a seemingly endless number of waterfalls cascading in from above, emerald-green waters, a very comfortable pop-up base camp with hot showers and a wood-fired sauna (think 'glamping' or luxury camping), and unequaled class IV-V pool-drop whitewater. This is truly a world-class, high-adventure whitewater run. Our trip combines the Salmon with the Class V Scott River and/or the spectacularly beautiful Clear Creak to become one of the ultimate (and most comfortable) class V adventures in the country.
