Today the operation includes a Marina with 150 private docks, a public boat ramp, and tour boats that allow around 30,000 visitors a year to explore what Meriwether Lewis saw over 200 years before. We encourage you to come out and see the “Heart” of Montana. The river is surrounded by over 28,000 acres of roadless undeveloped wilderness filled with flora and fauna. Rugged mountains, majestic pine trees, fragrant wildflowers, whispering meadows, peaceful streams, and lakes teeming with fish are all within minutes of the comfortable and private cabins that are available for rent year round rental. In addition to the breathtaking landscapes, you will see a variety of wildlife in their natural habitat, such as moose, elk, deer, antelope, waterfowl, hawks, and eagles. Eagle Ridge Ranch is an escape from the frenzy of city life, without sacrificing any conveniences or comforts. You can spend a day riding horses, eat a delicious prepared dutch oven meal, go fishing in one of the private ponds, and then relax in a private hot tub. If you would like to go hiking or photograph some of the wildlife, there are hundreds of secluded mountain trails within minutes of the cabins. Since Yellowstone National Park is just a short drive, you can also visit many of the park attractions (such as Old Faithful), and then come back to your luxury accommodations. In addition to the cabins, Eagle Ridge Ranch has designated camping areas that are great for families, business retreats, or scouting groups. While at the ranch, there are many other fun seasonal activities to choose from, such as a full 3D archery range, canoeing, swimming, and skeet shooting. After taking a shuttle across the main body of the lake, we'll paddle 2 - 10 miles each day, depending on the groups' desires, tent camp under the stars on sandy beaches, and dine on gourmet meals cooked over the campfire. Native cutthroat trout thrive in the 400+ foot deep Yellowstone Lake, which makes for excellent fishing. Fish right from your kayak or choose one of the feeder creeks including the headwaters of the Yellowstone River. Each day we'll go hiking in fields of wildflowers or up nearby peaks. We'll do lots of exploring and wildlife watching, or just relaxing on the lake's shores. Yellowstone Lake has an ecosystem all its own and sea kayaking along its shoreline is the best way to experience it!

We begin our day driving to Old Faithful, witnessing the iconic geyser explode before us. With a quick visit to the remarkable Old Faithful Inn, then venturing on to the Morning Glory Pool.
