Paria Canyon and Buckskin Gulch present a unique backpacking experience in a remote and iconic landscape. Only 20 overnight hikers are allowed to enter the canyon per day. Buckskin Gulch is the longest slot canyon in the world that offers a nearly subterranean hike through a deep slice in the Navajo sandstone. Paria (rhymes with Korea) Canyon is a little wider, but with massive sheer walls showing off stunning views at every turn. Native Americans left their mark on this canyon, and we'll see lots of petroglyphs. Wrather Arch is one of the largest natural arches in the US, but probably the most inaccessible and least visited. Much of the trip requires walking directly in the Paria River, and the condition of the river bottom is changing constantly by flash floods. Mud and quicksand make hiking more difficult for several days after a flood. April, May and June are the months with the lowest chance of flooding. Still, flash floods can happen any time of year, and we will only enter the canyon if it’s safe. This is a very strenuous trip and requires a Class 3 scramble out of Buckskin Gulch on the last day. This is not for anyone with a strong fear of heights.

Catherdral amphitheaters, massive sandstone walls and iconic arches frame an intimate, lush riparian walkway decorated with waterfalls, springs and pools. This adventure shows off the wide variety of incredible terrain of this remote and rugged landscape, with a mix of exciting scrambles over cross-country slickrock, and barefoot hiking through shallow creeks.

Bryce Canyon National Park is its own distinctive landscape. However, this scenery actively changes as winter approaches. Distracting elements are covered by snow, leaving the landscape clean, quiet, and aesthetically pleasing. The snow's white and blue hues, which contrast the red and orange of the hoodoos that make up the park, are truly a photographer's dream. This workshop is not just about taking photos; it's about honing your skills, refining your vision, and growing as a photographer. With my guidance, you'll not only have a great time but also emerge as a more confident and capable photographer.

Looking for a tour with less hiking involved? Come ride with us on a wonderful and colorful journey to Bryce Canyon National Park where we start from the highest point and work our way down to the different overlooks, with the highlight being the Bryce Point lookout, a favorite for photographers. Allow your tour guide to lead you to all the best spots in this place of great beauty and experience the eastern side of the Paunsaugunt Plateau, where giant natural amphitheaters, collectively called Bryce Canyon, rest. It comprises one of the major steps of the Grand Staircase formation and was established as a national park in September of 1928. On this Bryce Canyon day trip, we'll give you the opportunity to explore this stunning geographical area, where you can lose yourself navigating the maze of spires, hoodoos, and monoliths that reach into the beyond.
