In order to traverse the canyon, one must either float all the way through to the road's end at the western edge of Idaho, fly out from secluded airstrips, or jet boat back up to corn creek. Whitewater rafting the wilderness on the Main Salmon River is a great adventure through one of our nation's last "truly wild" wilderness areas.
