Trips are tailored to your wants and can include snook fishing with lunch on one of our beautiful private beaches, tarpon fishing and watching a beautiful sunrise, or a great day snapper fishing with the family watching a legendary Southwest Florida sunset. BIRD WATCHING and NATURE TOURS Hope Fishing Adventures also offers Everglades National Park kayak services. These services include transportation to and from fishing areas, mothership service or just bringing the needed supplies to your campsite. We also offer bird and nature tours for a private and personal view of this beautiful area. Discover the natural beauty of the Everglades on our Everglades Hiking Tour. We start with a wilderness drive to the more remote areas of the Everglades and explore over 30 miles of its diverse ecosystem. This area is home to a wide variety of wildlife including the American alligator, Everglades mink, whitetail deer, black bear, a multitude of bird species, and even the endangered Florida panther! Although remote, the trails are flat and make for a very nice walk through the great cypress forest. Plan on a four-plus hour commitment with about three hours hiking, including a picnic snack. It will be just you and your guide, so you can move along at your own pace.

In the wetter parts of the season we kayak out into the flooded grasses as well. These ares are where some of our most famous and popular residents live, and thrive! Of course we are hoping to view the great Florida Alligators, in they're natural habitat. They're always smiling! possibly turtles, frogs, raccoons. along with various herons, egrets, and lots of other bird life, traveling to and fro from they're rookeries. There is also species of orchids scattered throughout the river systems of the Everglades, that we love to point out to our guests, especially when they're blooming! So unique in itself, you have to experience this tour to understand.

Throughout the forest are brackish "lakes" whose waters are a mix of "sweet" freshwater and saltwater. This is part of what makes the Everglades so special. These lakes, surrounded by mangroves, are refuges and nursery grounds for herons, egrets, stilts, ducks, wood storks, spoonbills, alligators, otters and a gamut of fishes. This is where the Everglades transition from freshwater to saltwater and is a wonderful place to experience.
