Our trip begins near the town of Whitebird, ID at the Hammer Creek boat ramp. From here our guests set off to fish through remarkable river. Whether you prefer to swing a fly for steelhead or fish tradition gear, we have you covered. Our anglers have the opportunity to fish water that's ideal for all types of angling. Idaho's famous A and B run steelhead make their journey through this section with minimal fishing pressure. The fish here are abundant and aggressive, and our groups often go five days without seeing another angler. We fish this section towards the beginning of the steelhead run, making for some of the best opportunity to catch these fish on a swung fly and sometimes even on dry flies.

Float through 4 deep river canyons while navigating exhilarating class III and IV whitewater in a guided oar boat, paddle raft, and/or inflatable kayak. We also bring along stand up paddle boards. The white sand beaches are perfect for beach games as well as camping. And we'd like to mention that our gourmet menu is capstoned with locally raised and grown ingredients. We are happy to accommodate most dietary needs upon request. Let our guides take care of every last detail while you build memories to last a lifetime. This is one of the most loved spring trips, and, for many of us, the "Cal Salmon" is our favorite class V river in the U.S. It combines beautiful, lush coastal scenery, an intimate, marble-smooth, granite inner gorge, a seemingly endless number of waterfalls cascading in from above, emerald-green waters, a very comfortable pop-up base camp with hot showers and a wood-fired sauna (think 'glamping' or luxury camping), and unequaled class IV-V pool-drop whitewater. This is truly a world-class, high-adventure whitewater run. Our trip combines the Salmon with the Class V Scott River and/or the spectacularly beautiful Clear Creak to become one of the ultimate (and most comfortable) class V adventures in the country.
