Discover the natural beauty of the Everglades on our Everglades Hiking Tour. We start with a wilderness drive to the more remote areas of the Everglades and explore over 30 miles of its diverse ecosystem. This area is home to a wide variety of wildlife including the American alligator, Everglades mink, whitetail deer, black bear, a multitude of bird species, and even the endangered Florida panther! Although remote, the trails are flat and make for a very nice walk through the great cypress forest. Plan on a four-plus hour commitment with about three hours hiking, including a picnic snack. In the wetter parts of the season we kayak out into the flooded grasses as well. These ares are where some of our most famous and popular residents live, and thrive! Of course we are hoping to view the great Florida Alligators, in they're natural habitat.
