Bald Eagles from around the Puget Sound flock to the shores of the Hood Canal during this time. It is not uncommon to see 60 to 100 Bald Eagles on the beach and perched in overhanging trees! Join us for a full day Naturalist guided hiking tour of the 3 most beautiful 200 foot (avg) waterfalls on the Olympic Peninsula! We conduct these tours only in the winter and spring when the waterfalls are most impressive. The first two waterfalls are only a short walk into the forest. The third waterfall is a 2.3 mile round trip hike into the Olympic National Forest, gaining 250 feet of elevation. It is considered easy, but may feel moderate for some. Our helpful and informative tour guide will transport you to each waterfall and teach you about the watershed, mountains, and flora & fungi that we see along the way!
