We begin at the end of the Salmon River Road (Corn Creek Campground) and proceed directly into the 80.9-mile long "River of No Return" Wilderness. In order to traverse the canyon, one must either float all the way through to the road's end at the western edge of Idaho, fly out from secluded airstrips, or jet boat back up to corn creek. Whitewater rafting the wilderness on the Main Salmon River is a great adventure through one of our nation's last "truly wild" wilderness areas. A controlled season is managed on this river to preserve this beautiful wilderness experience. We already have the permits for your rafting vacation - and are ready to go! Since 1981 we have been offering daily summer whitewater trips, spring salmon and steelhead fishing, and fall steelhead and chukar hunts. Multi-day adventures are also offered and our five and six day trips are our favorites. More time in nature, the better. It normally takes people about three days just to decompress, relax, and then get acclimated to the river routine. So, all amount of time beyond that magical number of three is magnified exponentially in terms of how much more pleasure is surprisingly gained.

Whether you prefer to swing a fly for steelhead or fish tradition gear, we have you covered. Our anglers have the opportunity to fish water that's ideal for all types of angling. Idaho's famous A and B run steelhead make their journey through this section with minimal fishing pressure. The fish here are abundant and aggressive, and our groups often go five days without seeing another angler. We fish this section towards the beginning of the steelhead run, making for some of the best opportunity to catch these fish on a swung fly and sometimes even on dry flies.
