We begin our day driving to Old Faithful, witnessing the iconic geyser explode before us. With a quick visit to the remarkable Old Faithful Inn, then venturing on to the Morning Glory Pool. Following along the Upper Geyser Basin, the trail offers incredible views of the Daisy & Grotto geysers. Biking to Biscuit Basin, we arrive at a boardwalk home to a small set of hot springs, geysers & steam vents. Then driving to Firehole Lake Drive, we take a scenic bike ride to Firehole Spring & White Dome Geyser, where we enjoy a picnic lunch. After a short drive to the Fountain Freight Road trailhead, we bike our way to the final stop: the stunning Grand Prismatic.

After taking a shuttle across the main body of the lake, we'll paddle 2 - 10 miles each day, depending on the groups' desires, tent camp under the stars on sandy beaches, and dine on gourmet meals cooked over the campfire. Native cutthroat trout thrive in the 400+ foot deep Yellowstone Lake, which makes for excellent fishing. Fish right from your kayak or choose one of the feeder creeks including the headwaters of the Yellowstone River. Each day we'll go hiking in fields of wildflowers or up nearby peaks. We'll do lots of exploring and wildlife watching, or just relaxing on the lake's shores. Yellowstone Lake has an ecosystem all its own and sea kayaking along its shoreline is the best way to experience it!

I love that We can access Yellowstone in the winter! We will start the winter tour at your hotel or specified pick up location bright and early. We will enter the park through Gardiner, Mt ( north entrance) and head down the only road open toward Cooke City. Traveling through Tower Junction we will enter the Lamar Valley. This place is magical and so full of wildlife. Often we will see huge herds of bison and elk. Fox, coyotes and occasionally wolves. Cameras and spotting scopes are a must. We may even have time for a soak at Chico hot Springs on the way home!
