On our 2-day trips you will find some great whitewater, AND it is easy to get to! This float includes 27 miles of river, including the "Day Stretch" of the Salmon River, at the end of which we find our campsite: a beautiful island in the middle of the river. This is sure to be a great family vacation adventure-or a nice get-away with friends. The 2nd day continues on down river to the end of the road at Corn Creek Campground. More great whitewater rapids, and outdoor fun with your experienced guide. Since the river doubles in size at the confluence of the Middle Fork of the Salmon River, this day brings bigger rapids and better fishing. The entire trip includes old homesteads, pictographs, and a waterfall. Wildlife viewing opportunities are exceptional on this section. All meals, non-alcoholic beverages, and return transportation included.

This tour will only take your group to areas inside Yellowstone National Park that are off the beaten path and not easily found (we can easily add a one or a few popular sites such as Old Faithful or Yellowstone Falls to make a hybridized tour). This tour does not stop at Old Faithful or other easily found tourist destinations. Instead, we will go to areas that gives your family or friends the opportunity to experience Hidden Yellowstone.

I love that We can access Yellowstone in the winter! We will start the winter tour at your hotel or specified pick up location bright and early. We will enter the park through Gardiner, Mt ( north entrance) and head down the only road open toward Cooke City. Traveling through Tower Junction we will enter the Lamar Valley. This place is magical and so full of wildlife. Often we will see huge herds of bison and elk. Fox, coyotes and occasionally wolves. Cameras and spotting scopes are a must. We may even have time for a soak at Chico hot Springs on the way home!
