We will enter the park through Gardiner, Mt ( north entrance) and head down the only road open toward Cooke City. Traveling through Tower Junction we will enter the Lamar Valley. This place is magical and so full of wildlife. Often we will see huge herds of bison and elk. Fox, coyotes and occasionally wolves. Cameras and spotting scopes are a must. We may even have time for a soak at Chico hot Springs on the way home!
