You'll start out at over 10,000 feet of altitude from our BIRDSEYE OUTPOST, which is located about 16 miles South of Copper Mountain Resort. Your guide will then train you on the operation of your snowmobile before taking you to the practice track so you can get comfortable driving your your snowmobile. The Mountain Top Action Snowmobile Tour at the Birdseye Outpost is the great choice if you want to look across the Mountain Tops from an elevation over 12,000 feet above sea level! With many of these trails being above treeline, drifting snow can change the trail very quickly. Your guide will show you how to use your body to balance the snowmobile where the trail is not flat. Most people who love adventure rave about how much fun this tour is; we even have many first time snowmobilers take this tour and have a great time! Previous experience with atvs and dirt bikes really helps.
