A beautiful yet rugged series of landscapes that also include Grand Canyon West, Mojave National Preserve, Death Valley National Park, Joshua Tree National Park plus many more. The second part of our name is to wave as in greeting somebody. ​ Our mascot is the Kit Fox which are not often seen but are small, cunning and have evolved to survive our harsh climate in the Mojave Desert. They also happen to be cute. One of our favorite local animals to behold in the wild.
