Days three and four include more climbing techniques, including steep face climbing and crack climbing techniques, allowing you to build your foundation on a wide variety of climbs, all with expert advice and coaching from your instructor. Climbing on consecutive days is the best way to refine technique and quickly progress.

This lovely 2.5-hour trail has something for everyone! We head into the Black Rock Canyon area which lies in the western most part of the National Park. We'll take you up into the mountainous region for stunning views of the highest peak in Southern California - Mt. Gorgonio, through deep canyons filled with large Juniper bushes, Yucca plants and Mojave pine trees. We'll wind you up and down and up and down through trails lined with the world-famous Joshua Trees. For the less experienced riders we can keep the pace at a nice walk, but there are some exciting galloping sections for the more experienced or comfortable riders. Whatever your preference, this trail has it all!

One of the most amazing trail rides offered in the National Park. On the California Riding and Hiking Trail we ride through easy but very impressive terrain most of the trail. The views are just mindblowing once you reach Eureka Peak with its 1681 m / 5516 ft. 360 degree views of the high desert. On good days you can see the Salton Sea and the Mexican border in the South and Yucca Valley, Joshua Tree as well as Twenty Nine Palms in the Northe, East and West. A memory you will never forget. We stop close to Eureka Peak for a sandwich and drinks. Take your camera! For the ones who want some adventure: There are some nice slopes uphill, if you want to give it a try (same counts for downhill). You can ride up on the ridge, if you are not afraid of heights.

Climber to guide max ratio is 4 to 1. We typically meet at 8 am and climb until near dark or you say uncle"¦ These are big high adventure days perfect for climbers looking to climb loads of pitches, the climber that prefers a relaxed pace with no need for clocks, folks that have the inclination to see more remote areas of the park and travel the road less traveled, the seasoned climber that wants to climb it all, and for those learning technical systems for anchoring, leading, or self-rescue techniques. If you would like to spend some time off the ground in a multi-pitch environment, the Cliffhanger Full Day is for you!

Our Learn to Rappel Program is for anyone who is looking to experience the thrill of a vertical adventure without having to rock climb. No prior experience required, and all ages are welcome! Our Rappelling Programs are all private and you will not be grouped with another party. This allows us to customize the day to suit your specific needs, and what you are looking to get out of it. We'll start by teaching you basic rappelling skills, familiarize you with the equipment and do some practice runs low to the ground. We'll then take the adventure to new heights (pun intended) by scrambling up the back sides of some of the more accessible rock formations, then rappelling down their vertical or even overhanging main faces!

Only have a few short hours to spend in the park? Book a sightseeing tour with us and see the highlights of the park with an informative nature guide. Enjoy an educational shuttle around the park with plenty of amazing photo opportunities. Your shuttle driver and guide will take you around the park ensuring you don't miss some of the best and most picturesque spots. The sightseeing tour visits Joshua Tree Classic's including: Cholla Cactus Garden, Skull Rock, Arch Rock, Ohlsen Ranch (or Cap Rock Nature Trail), and Key's View. Tours depart at 8am from our office in Joshua Tree. You can expect to be back around 12:30pm. Your ticket includes the park entrance fee. Advance reservations recommended
