It also features a 42+ mile trail called the Lakeshore Trail between Munising (where?) and Grand Marais. This segment is often considered the crown jewel of the 4800 mile North Country Trail because it features soaring bluffs over layered sandstone with sweeping views of the spectacular turquoise Lake Superior.

We offer both recreational trips as well as technical ones. You can expect delicious meals, excellent diving, and amazing island scenery . If you would like to try your luck at lake trout or salmon fishing between dives, (island rules allowing), bring your gear and MI fishing license and give it a try. (The fishing at Isle Royale is probably the best in Lake Superior.)

We staff bike mechanics for repair & service needs and have a small retail shop where we supply essential bike parts and kayak accessories. Canoe, sit-on-top kayak and SUP rentals are also available, along with eco-interpretive hikes and a shuttle service. More than just a bike shop, we have also built our reputation as advocates, trail builders, community organizers and folks who like to have a good time.
