Interested in birds? We are too! RTWBC has been Dutchess County’s bird club since 1958. We offer:
-Bird walks every Wednesday morning and on select weekend days, free and open to the public
-Monthly evening programs with presenters on birds, bird science, bird photography and bird travel
-A bi-monthly newsletter of club events and happenings (members only)
-PEEPS, a Dutchess Rare Bird Alert system using WhatsApp for quick notification of special bird sightings (members only)
-Resources: where to bird, FAQs, injured, orphaned and nuisance birds, birding code of ethics, young birders
-Publications: checklists, reference guide, The Birds of Dutchess County updated yearly, club and county birding history
-Projects: historical records, bluebird trails, NY -Breeding Bird Atlas III
