We fish out of Matagorda, Texas, and we hunt in Matagorda and surrounding Texas counties. We are located about an 65 miles southwest of Houston along the the Texas Gulf Coast right outside of Bay City, Texas. Very convenient if you live in or around Houston and want to leave work at noon on a Friday and be sitting in a stand that afternoon.
If you have access to a plane, we have an airport in Bay City that is about 20 minutes from the lodge. Our location is great because we are close enough to the city for a relaxing weekend get-a-way that won’t involve a lot of driving. We have access to an alligator processor who will prep your meat and prepare your hides to be sent to the tannery. We can take care of everything for you!
