Our ecosystem is abounding with wildlife and fish. It's very common to see Dolphins and many different species of birds on our daily tours. There's an opportunity to even see Alligators and manatee, they are sighted occasionally.

Whether you are a novice or expert angler, you can enjoy fishing in just inches of water to target a plethora of spectacular salt water species. Besides guiding advanced fly anglers, Capt. Mark routinely also incorporates "on the water fly lessons" on trips for beginner or intermediate fly anglers. In terms of the preferred fly/spin fishing technique, sight fishing with the Captain on the poling platform is the standard.

Gringo Charters – Islamorada Fishing Charters As a child Capt. Carlos spent every summer fishing, diving and exploring in the Florida Keys. These early days laid the groundwork for a life on the water. Capt. Carlos has been making a living fishing in the Upper Keys since 1991. He started out as a mate learning the ropes from the top captains in the area. In 1994 he obtained his captain’s license and began running large offshore fishing boats from both Key Largo and Islamorada. In 2008 he moved away from charter boats and focused on the niche of running a multitude of private boats for private clients from Ocean Reef to Marathon. During his free time he focused on exploring the backcountry and learned that he loved that side of the island just as much as the oceanside. In 2015 he decided to purchase a bay boat which allows the versatility to fish either ocean or bay side of the Key Largo and Islamorada areas. In addition to being an avid fisherman, Capt. Carlos is a husband and a father. So whether it’s a family adventure or a guys trip you’re planning, know that Capt. Carlos enjoys working with anglers of all ages and all levels of experience. Capt. Carlos really loves to catch fish, but never at the expense of your safety or your enjoyment.
