The marshes of south Louisiana give opportunity to sight cast for redfish, black drum, and sheepshead. Spend your day stalking redfish in the shallow water we call home in the 17' Strike by Beavertail Skiffs. Many people come fish the marshes of South Louisiana in the fall and winter for big redfish, but redfish is our specialty year round. Summer is a great time to chase redfish, but one of my favorite summer time species is jack crevalle. Not only are jacks a great target in the summer, sharks are as well. Stay in the Big Easy for some amazing food and entertainment and get out on the water for a day or three of chasing these awesome fish with light spin tackle. We offer redfish charters all year in Louisiana: Pointe a La Hache, Port Sulphur, Empire, Buras, Boothville, Venice, Grand Isle

Spend your day stalking redfish in the shallow water we call home in the 17' Strike by Beavertail Skiffs. Many people come fly fish the marshes of South Louisiana in the fall and winter for big redfish, but redfish is our specialty year round. Our goal is to create a tour experience unlike any other, showcasing the beauty and wonder of the Louisiana wetlands, as well as the catastrophic man-made damage that is ravaging the Louisiana landscape. Tours typically begin in New Orleans with an educational session about environmental issues affecting coastal Louisiana. Afterwards kayakers caravan to the closest remaining cypress tupelo swamp 45 minutes west of the city. Motorboat tours are in the marshlands southwest of the city. Advance scheduling is recommended for both, especially motor boat tours. Our tours are great for journalists, scientists, nature enthusiasts, and other people interested in learning about the environment. We are an ecologically-responsible company and don’t feed wildlife.
